about

Cassandra Gaines is a transportation law expert and industry business leader who, in the past years, has helped many transportation companies meet any necessary legal requirements. She has taken advantage of her entrepreneurial spirit by creating various platforms to educate, transform, and revolutionize the Transportation and Logistics Industry.

Recently named one of the 100 People Transforming Business in North America by Business Insider, Cassandra joins prestigious alumni such Elon Musk, Jack Dorsey, and Jeff Bezos.

A lawyer at heart, Cassandra has shifted her offering from legal services toward providing education through new and innovative platforms, different channels of communications like podcasts and live shows, as well as coaching services for companies and individuals that need legal guidance. She has dedicated her career to helping transportation companies succeed.

Cassandra created her show called MadGaines Live, a non-traditional platform that extends through all her social media platforms where her ever-growing community of more than 230,000 viewers unite, learn, and have fun with colleagues and industry leaders.

Cassandra has built her career in the transportation industry as both a law firm litigator and as in-house counsel at some of the largest companies in the industry. For a time, she was the lead in-house attorney and director of cargo security for Echo Global Logistics, one of the largest transportation brokers in the industry. And after that, as associate general counsel of risk management at Schneider National Inc., one of the nation’s largest trucking companies.

Leveraging Her Expertise

Being able to work with major companies within the industry allowed Cassandra to understand its nuances. It only felt natural to become a founding partner of a boutique transportation law firm, Gaines Law Group LLC. It has allowed her to help other companies stay ahead of the game, avoid any legal issues, and transform the way these services are looked at within the industry.
